This 18 hour course is the foundation for all styles of voice-over. It is designed to teach you the basics of copy interpretation, vocal and mic technique, as well as studio vocabulary and etiquette. You will be introduced to commercial, character, and narration copy during this workshop. We offer the 6 week as well as the 2 weekend format for your convenience. This is the groundwork for all other classes.

You've heard it in school, at work, on TV, in doctors offices, standing in airport lines and riding in your car. There is a great need for narrators for educational, medical, and technical training videos as well as documentaries, audio books and voice mail systems. If you love to read aloud, this four week class is for you. You'll learn to apply pacing, breath control and focus to the many different styles of narration.

The intermediate course is offered in a four week format. In this course we continue building skills focusing on commercial copy styles. We will learn how to apply acting techniques such as intentions, tasks, and beats to your reads. You'll also learn some of the pro tips of back breaths, eliding, and musical phrasing. It's no secret that the best voice-over talents are good actors. You need the acting tools this class offers!

Unlock the character in your kids! Students learn how to create voices like those heard on The Simpsons, Rugrats and movies like Happy Feet! Through age-appropriate improvisation games, acting exercises and techniques, students will learn to voice radio and TV commercials as well as character voices! In addition, they will discover natural performance gifts, have fun and build self-esteem! Students must have good reading skills.

We encourage people to take group classes to start, for one can learn a lot
by watching and listening to peers behind the mic. However, if group
classes don't work with your schedule or you have reached a certain level of
proficiency, why not schedule a few private lessons? Private lessons will
put you on the fast track to voice-over excellence.
