In 1988, after many years as a voice talent and part-owner of a major San
Francisco recording studio, the need for a voice-over training program was
very clear to me. I started workshops under my production company name,
Susan & Friends. Since then we have added casting and duplication services as well as an East Bay location. In the
summer of 1999 we renamed the school and retained the name Susan &
Friends for our casting division.
Over the years we have grown to be one of highest respected schools in the
country. We are dedicated to the development of talented individuals who can
be an asset to this wonderfully wacky world of voice-overs. Our workshops
are recommended by top voice agents, producers and performers. Classes
are
held in our 3 professional broadcast-quality recording studios in both San Francisco and the East Bay. Our
personal and nurturing approach to getting people started in the industry has
helped many students turn their voices into a career. If you've ever thought,
"I wonder what it takes to be a voice-over talent?", you owe it to yourself to
find out. Perhaps you are just looking to improve your speaking skills, or just try something different - VoiceMedia has the class for you.
We offer both group and private lessons under the tutelage of the Bay Area's
top talent, producers and agents. See our staff biographies.
